In the case of loss or theft of the biometric passport of the Republic of Serbia, it is necessary to immediately report the loss/theft to the Canadian Police Department and obtain the Police Report regarding the same. Afterward, the Embassy may initiate a procedure for declaring the missing passport invalid and you may apply in person for a new passport or travel document for your return back to Serbia. ISSUANCE OF THE EMERGENCY TRAVEL DOCUMENT TO RETURN TO SERBIA The emergency travel document is a document that serves only to return to the Republic of Serbia and is valid 60 days from the date of issuance. It will be issued to the person whose passport has expired, or which has reported the loss/theft of the passport or in other cases prescribed by the Law on travel documents of the R. of Serbia.
