Ambassador Stefan Tomašević Attends “Gliša’s Time Machine” Presentation in Ottawa

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Canada, Stefan Tomašević, attended a presentation entitled “Gliša’s Time Machine,” dedicated to the life and achievements of Gligorije Milanović Gliša, a longstanding and respected member of the Serbian community in Ottawa.
The event was held at the Serbian Parish Centre. The presentation highlighted his remarkable life journey, from his early years as a musician to becoming a successful businessman who built his career in the financial sector. It offered an insight into the many events and experiences that shaped his personal and professional development. Special attention was given to Mr. Milanović’s longstanding dedication to sports and the Serbian community in Ottawa, including his involvement with the St. Stefan Football Club. Gligorije Milanović Gliša is a recipient of the Order of St. Sava, Second Class, awarded in recognition of his humanitarian work.
