Ambassador Stefan Tomasevic Visits Serbian Language School in Ottawa

The Ambassador of Serbia to Canada, Stefan Tomasevic, visited the Serbian language school in Ottawa, which is implemented within the International & Indigenous Languages Program under the auspices of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
The visit was an opportunity to express support for the teaching of the Serbian language and culture in the diaspora.
The Ambassador spoke with students, teachers, and the responsible principal, Susan Jones, emphasizing the importance of preserving the Serbian language and the Cyrillic alphabet.
In the 2025/26 school year, 98 students are attending classes in six groups.
