During their cordial meeting, they highlighted the importance of preserving Serbian cultural heritage, traditional epic poetry, and the art of gusle playing as important elements of the Serbian people's national and cultural identity. Particular emphasis was placed on the role of Serbian artists and cultural figures in strengthening ties between Serbia and the Serbian community in Canada, as well as the importance of preserving and passing on Serbian cultural traditions to younger generations in the diaspora.
