Ambassador Tomasevic meets with Edmonton mayor Andrew Knack

During the meeting, they discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in the areas of education, energy, and municipal projects, as well as city-to-city cooperation, with particular emphasis on the important role of the Serbian community in Edmonton and its contribution to strengthening ties between Serbia and Canada. Ambassador Tomašević also briefed Mayor Knack on EXPO 2027 and the importance of this project for the Republic of Serbia.

The two sides expressed their readiness to maintain contacts and further develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest. On this occasion, Mayor Knack presented Ambassador Tomašević with a jersey of Edmonton’s professional basketball team.
