Ambassador Tomašević Presented Certificates of Appreciation to Students of Serbian Origin in Ottawa

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Stefan Tomašević, received students of Serbian origin from the University of Ottawa and Carleton University, who, on a voluntary basis, provided significant support to the activities of the Embassy in Ottawa. On that occasion, the Ambassador presented the students with certificates of appreciation as recognition for their engagement and contribution.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the students for their efforts and enthusiasm, emphasizing that through their participation they contributed to the implementation of numerous programs and events aimed at promoting the Republic of Serbia, its culture, tradition, and contemporary achievements. It was particularly highlighted that the engagement of young people of Serbian origin represents a significant contribution to strengthening ties with the homeland and promoting Serbia within the academic and broader community in Canada. During the meeting, mutual satisfaction with the cooperation to date was expressed, as well as readiness to continue joint work on initiatives that contribute to the promotion of the Republic of Serbia and the strengthening of ties with the Serbian community.
