Metropolitan Mitrofan of Canada Visits the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ottawa

His Eminence Metropolitan Mitrofan of Canada visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ottawa, accompanied by Nun Paraskeva, Secretary of the Diocesan Executive Board, Deacon Petar Marjanović, Secretary to the Bishop, and Mr. Željko Čolaković, Vice President of the Diocesan Executive Board of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada.
During their meeting, His Eminence Metropolitan Mitrofan and Ambassador Stefan Tomašević discussed the activities of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Canada, as well as opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ottawa and the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada, with a view to preserving the Orthodox faith, spiritual heritage, traditions, and the national and cultural identity of the Serbian people in Canada.
