Multicultural Day and the 200th anniversary of the City of Ottawa provided a unique opportunity to celebrate the richness of Canadian multiculturalism.
On this occasion, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Stefan Tomašević, extended his congratulations to Deputy Mayor of Ottawa, Mr. Wilson Lo, together with representatives of the Serbian community.
We were also pleased that Vanja Vukić, representative of the “Kolo” Serbian Folklore Ensemble from Ottawa, had the opportunity to address the participants and present the contribution of the Serbian community as part of Ottawa’s multicultural mosaic.
May the friendship between Serbia and Canada continue to grow and flourish for generations to come.
