Saint Sava Ball Held in Ottawa

The Saint Sava Ball was held at the premises of the Serbian Parish Centre in Ottawa, in honor of Saint Sava, the first Serbian Archbishop, educator, and one of the most prominent figures of Serbian spiritual and diplomatic history.

The event brought together a large number of members of the Serbian community, representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as Canadian friends, including former Canadian ambassador James Bissett. Guests were addressed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Canada, Stefan Tomasevic, who shared a traditional account from the life of Saint Sava, highlighting his historical role as a spiritual leader, peacemaker, and a skilled diplomat.
