Serbian Ambassador Meets Burnaby Mayor: Local Cooperation, Investment Opportunities, and Community Support

The productive meeting enabled discussions on potential forms of cooperation at the local level and initiated the establishment of connections through appropriate types of agreements. Mayor Harley informed Ambassador Tomašević about the importance of the well-developed film industry in Burnaby, as well as ongoing housing construction projects. Ambassador Tomašević emphasized the importance of the well-integrated Serbian community and requested support for their future cultural activities. He also acquainted Mayor Harley with current infrastructure projects in Serbia, as well as the country’s attractiveness for direct investment across various sectors of the economy.
