Serbian Ambassador Visits St. Sava Church in Vancouver
During meetings with clergy, representatives of the Church-School Municipality, and parishioners, Ambassador Tomašević discussed the position of the Serbian community and the church in Vancouver, their activities, and possible ways to further strengthen ties with the homeland.
In an open discussion with the Serbian community, organized on the premises of the Church-School Municipality and attended by priests Father Vuk Milišić and Father Marko Radmanović, the importance of preserving the spiritual and cultural identity of the Serbian people in Canada was emphasized.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted the importance of the diaspora’s role in enhancing bilateral relations and preserving tradition, expressing his readiness to support future initiatives aimed at improving the visibility of the Serbian community and promoting Serbian culture.
